high school...

high school... the best time of most people lives....
a lot of things happened... happy or sad...
best friends that we got through the laughter and tears... through all of the years...

well, for me too... and this is a story bout several people...

High School...

it was 17th July 2007... a clear summer they in a town called... let's just call it "the Equator city"
the long holiday was just over... a new day to start school... boring~
well it was for the second graders and the third graders...
but for the first graders? they were all shaking of excitement...
it was their first day in high school, a totally different atmosphere from junior high school...
new school, new classroom, new teachers... and absolutely new friends...
strangers everywhere... except you were one high school with your old friends....
well, there was a boy... he was from another town... his name was Jack... Jackie Leggs...
it was his first day in a new school and new city... faraway from his hometown...
he felt so excited... he didn't know no one...
Jack's hometown was in an isolated district... he was so plebeian...
he knew nothing bout computers or technology... even he didn't know television....
he wasn't so smart... he wasn't a good athlete... he was pathetic in sports...
the only thing he could do just playin the guitar... he was fine at musics...
at first... there weren't any guys or girls who wanted to make friend with him...
well... was he sad? no... he was just smiled when everybody was making fun of him...
he'd love to help everyone... although no one in the class who respect him as a human...
he kept showing his existence... he tried to learn bout everything...
about the technologies... sports... and every lessons in school...
three months had passed... what did he get?
he didn't mastered everything though... but... he was getting better at everything...
that time... he did better than anyone in his class about computers...
he started to played volleyball and basketball....
finally... people started making friend with him...
the one who was nothing than just a piece of crap...
now turned into someone who got an important role in his school...
first year had passed... it's holiday time... he spent his holiday by studying more about musics and computers till the end of the holiday...
he was getting better at computers... and now he was the best student at computers...
as second year passed... he got a lot of friends now...
but only 11 people were his best friends... they were... Albert, Sumar, Aldi, Jason, Bastian, Anthony, Steven, Jumadi, Hendra, Afryandie and a girl named Caroline....
they were completing each other... when one of them in trouble... the other would help...
a lot of things happened from that moment... laughter... cries... even fights  often happened...
one day a little fight happened... it was raining that day...
Caroline's boyfriend and Jumadi had a little quarrel... everyone was trying to make the situation better...
but... it was worse... since that incident... Jumadi became a little colder...
he wouldn't talk to Caroline... it made Jack so sad... he tried to do everything he could... but nothing was happening...
just as second year... third year just ended.... everyone passed the final exam
well... everyone was happy... but... and do you guys know?

it's also time for the saddest moment in high school students... the farewell party...

that party was held on the school volleyball court...

people were eating fried rice and roasted chicken they roasted their own...

the farewell party wasn't something for them... but the fun by gathering with buddies was the best part...

the farewell party was over... now... they started to go their separated ways...

they went to different universities... some to the capital... some stayed in the Equator City...

everything was so different... they were so busy with their study... 

even they barely kept in touch...

10 years had passed... Jack had become a fine computers programmer...

one day... he was invited to join a big company...

and unbelievable the owner of that company was... Albert... his best buddy in the high school...

they were happy to meet each other once again... then they made a good team...

then... one day Albert had an idea about a reunion...

it was a good idea... and it was a hard job to find all of their best friends from high school...

but they did it... the reunion party was going well...

it was held on 17th July... the same day when they first met...

and Jack did something... he took out his guitar and started playing a song...

Jumadi and Caroline started talking again...

it was a very good song... that reminded everyone about the time they had gone through together...

but everything had been so different now... it's not about girls and sports or lessons they were talking...

it's all about business, politics, or religions...

how they missed their high school time... but what they could do now?
they just could remember everything and talked bout them in every reunion...

it was so sad that their high school moment was over...

but... there's something they still got... they still got each other...

it was a nice November day... 14th November 2008...
the sun wasn't too hot and the breeze was nice...

like always... I woke up and realized that it was a nice moment to start my day with a smile...

I prepared myself and went to school... this was the day I fell in love with someone...
a little shorty... cutie and... fierce lady..

I started the school by spending time with my buddies...

I didn't know why... it just came like something I never expected...
when I saw her face... I felt so peaceful...

well, she never realized though

after school... I sent her some messages...

it went well, she replied...

till one thing I told her... that I like her... she thought it was just a game... but it wasn't..

well, it was one day of my life I felt so in love...

I kept goin on with her.... well, at first she didn't like me at all...

time went by... we started to love each other...

we did a lot of things through 1,5 years...

I wondered does she still remember them? or everything was just gone to hell for her?

who knows... heaven knows....

we bet on things that are funny, like who wakes up earlier will receive a gift from the looser...

I won most of the game and I won a lot of stuff... fried rice, strawberry juice... chocolates...

well, she won too, she won my heart....

we shared our life every night before we went to sleep...

we talked bout pigs and cows... and Japanese summer festivals... 

fireworks, beach... and everything we could talk bout...

on her 17th birthday... I wrote a song for her... 

my friends helped me sang it for her... that day...

well... it was the best time of my life...

but everything was gone... till got stressed out from this university jokes 

I started to be bored... didn't care bout her and... 

I sent her away... I couldn't be so patient that time...

and it was the biggest mistake I've ever made... just for now...

never thought that things would turn out this way....

I never realized how happy she had made me... the happiest person in this world?

I don't know...

I feel like a fool because I've let her down...

made her shed her tears... made her mad because I posted her photo in a social website and acted so stupid...

I wish she could hear my heart scream that I still love her...

I'd hold her hand when she scared....

I missed every night we shared... the cows and the pigs we talked bout...

missed every moaning she told me... and I missed when she sang to me a song she loved to sing....

the night seems so colder now for me...

the last thing she told me... "can we just be friend?" and "yeah it's true now, that I got no feeling bout you anymore"....

is it goodbye?

there's so many words in this world... why must goodbye?

I think... I'll do what she wanted...
